首钢园位于中国首都北京，坐落于长安街西轴线与永定河绿色生态走廊交汇处，占地面积8.63平方公里。其历史可以追溯到1919年，为了首都的绿水蓝天和2008年北京奥运会成功举办，于2010底完成钢铁大搬迁。经过10余年的开发改造，首钢园形成山-水-工业遗存相结合的特色景观体系，形成工业元素与现代城市生活协调共生的城市风貌和友好、和谐、宜居的新型城市形态，成为北京城市深度转型的重要标志和全球规模最大的以企业为主体实施的工业区复兴的典范。
Shougang Park is located in Beijing, capital of China, at the intersection of the west axis of Chang’an Avenue and the Yongding River Green Ecological Corridor, covering an area of 8.63 square kilometers. Its history dates back to 1919. To restore clear waters and blue skies for the capital and ensure the success of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, the large-scale relocation of its steel production was completed by the end of 2010. After more than a decade of development and renovation, Shougang Park has built a unique landscape system integrating mountains, water bodies and industrial heritage. It presents an urban look featuring harmonious coexistence of industrial heritage and modern urban life, as well as a new friendly, harmonious and livable urban form. It stands as a vital symbol of Beijing’s in-depth urban transformation and the world’s largest model of industrial zone revitalization undertaken by an enterprise as the main body.
